This is a newly created opportunity for a self motivated Business or Commercial Relationship Manager with a strong sales and relationship track record within a Top 4 Bank or Commercial Financier, looking for a fresh change of direction.
In recent times, a growth culture across mainstream banks has become increasingly risk adverse, along with internal restructures, compliance issues and limited career learning/development. This organisation hasn’t been excempt, but has more agility than others and is well out the other side. They’re in a fantastic position to challenge for market share and reward great people who aim for strong results.
With a newly formed team, there is a strong experience and management support offering fresh ideas and strategies, plus a willingness to challenge the market. This is an opportunity for a Commercial or Business Banker who enjoys building business/asset funding relationships across sectors such as Mechanical, Transport, Forestry, Manufacturing and similar sectors, to manage an Auckland customer base, but offering wider opporunity to develop niche markets across selective North Island regional centres.
As such you’ll be open to regular travel to secure deals and build quality relationships, with a company vehicle and air travel budget provided in the package given the expectation you’ll be out and about and across different regions as needed. This role has serious upside to reset the service offering and take control of an existing book of clients, but push hard to grow and develop new markets.
