THE COMPANY

Our client, a small but very well-established motor vehicle finance and lease company are looking for a Compliance Officer to join their team. You’ll really enjoy this company, they have a great culture and are a NZ family-owned business whose objective is to give delight in everything motoring!

THE JOB

  • Ensures proper compliance and documentation of loans (loan agreements, variations, assignments)
  • Completes and prepares loan documents in conformance with procedures and processes
  • Completes and checks loan documents in conformance with procedures and processes and with satisfactory turnaround times on all payout requests
  • Reviews loan documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to approval conditions
  • Collect, review and advise dealers regarding receipt and status of all loan documentation in for pay-out
  • Upon receipt of documentation, verification checks and supporting documentation: complete compliance checklist in preparation for verification
  • Responsible for the collection of customer due diligence (CDD) information; verification of customers and beneficial owners and those acting on behalf of the customer; record keeping; ongoing CDD.

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous compliance/settlements/payouts experience preferred but not necessary
  • Previous financial services experience
  • Strong attention to details
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build good relationships
  • Strong administrator and computer savvy
