Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and passionate person wanting to further their marketing career with a fun, fast paced financial services company, operating throughout Australia and NZ and owned by a global organisation. You’ll be the “sole-charge” Marketing/Design/Communications resource within the firm, so it’s a super varied and generalised role with lot’s of variety and never a dull moment.

About You

Friends would describe you as super creative and forward thinking with a natural eye for digital/graphic design and this is a good thing, because this company is wanting to better share their story and develop new ones. You are organised, sociable, articulate and up with the times across digital, social media and web based platforms and marketing technology.

Overall, you like to take ownership for things and are proud of your work, but most importantly, you have a fun loving outlook on life and want to join an awesome company! Based in Auckland, the role is primarily responsible for all company marketing, branding and communication across digital and social, content, plus external/internal communications, event planning, sponsorships, trade and media advertising.

This role will suit someone with 3 – 5 years marketing experience looking for their next career step into a role with more responsibility and autonomy. You can run your own show across the NZ market, whilst staying connected with the Australian marketing team. The position offers opportunities for further career progression and specialisation for the right person (career development will be encouraged to assist with professional and personal development).

The firm has most of their staff working successfully from home but they will be looking to return to an office based team environment once possible, with work from home flexibility as needed.
