Credit Control Specialist

THE ROLE
- Undertaking timely and appropriate action on accounts in default
- Decrease the annual dollar value of write -offs through effective management of all loan arrears across both Commercial and Consumer
- Decrease the size of the arrears
- Customer enquiries
- Negotiating payment plans
- Following up overdue payments
- Follow policy and procedures
- Initiate recovery processes when required and minimize any risk of write off
- Meet risk and compliance requirements
- Manage compliance with any milestones and lending conditions
- Provide a high level of service to our internal team
- Provide various reporting as required
ABOUT YOU
- Previous collections experience is required.
- Knowledge of acceptable credit policy and processes in finance
- A process driven role with eye for detail
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Strong numeracy skills with experience understanding basic financial information
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Microsoft skills
- Commercial acumen.
