Product Manager – Financial Services
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
An established financial services organisation with a leading market position is looking for an experienced Product Manager to help shape the strategy, performance and development of several key product lines. This newly created role will particularly appeal to someone who is attracted to a more agile environment offering greater variety, closer collaboration and more input into commercial strategy and outcomes. You’ll work across strategy, pricing, risk, customer experience, performance, innovation and delivery, identifying market opportunities and turning commercial ideas into practical initiatives.
ROLE FOCUS
- Translating market insight and business priorities into clear product plans and growth opportunities
- Finding opportunities to improve pricing, product performance, policies and customer experience
- Taking new ideas and product enhancements from concept through to market
- Turning customer and commercial data into smarter product decisions
- Balancing growth and innovation with sound risk management and regulatory discipline
- Bringing together senior leaders and external partners to align product priorities and turn plans into outcomes
ABOUT YOU
You’ll bring proven product management experience within banking or financial services, strong commercial and analytical capability, and a sound understanding of the New Zealand regulatory environment. You’ll also be an effective communicator who can engage across different business functions, influence decisions and bring people together around shared commercial outcomes.
